Wednesday, November 30th at 12:00 noon
Hotel Le Cantlie, 1110 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal
St. Andrew’s Luncheon Tickets: $60 each
Join us for the traditional 3 course meal, and of course, the added bonus of Haggis with trimmings, regally piped into the hall. Wine and beer will be served as a part of the $60.00 ticket price, including a fine Scotch Ale brewed by McAuslan Brewing.
A Good Cause
In the past year, the St. Andrew’s society, the McEwen Foundation, the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada and the McGill History Department have initiated a $3 million campaign to fully endow a Chair in Canadian-Scottish Studies. Approximately $2 million has been pledged to date. Money raised at this luncheon will go towards the $25,000 fund raising objective of this year’s St. Andrew’s week which is dedicated to the financing of the Chair.
Contrary to the popular view of many, this event debunks the theory that the Scots don’t know how to have a good time. We guarantee a good meal, good company and much merriment – a fine way to inaugurate the festive season and to put aside the November blues.
