Scottish country dance practices will take place at Black Watch Armoury,
every Wednesday starting October 16.
St. Andrew's Ball dress code
Here are some guidelines for newcomers:
Lads: You have several options; Highland Formal, Mess Kit, or Tuxedo (not a business suit). You are also encouraged to wear your decorations, military or civil.
Lassies: The hem of your dress should touch your dancing shoes, not end mid-calf or higher up. Your dress or skirt should exude a particular elegance. This is not the time for a short cocktail dress. Ladies are encouraged to wear tartan sashes, Celtic brooches, and military or civil decorations.
